Minor Intercultural Management    3 ects Credits

This is a 3rdyear course from the Bachelor curriculum of FHNW

One of my favorite courses of both semesters.

During this course, you’ll learn the significance of a country ‘culture on the working abroad process. You’ll learn what a culture shock is and how to avoid it in an efficient way. You’ll also learn that before going to a foreign country to work, you’ll have to learn everything that you can about the culture of this country in order to avoid any misunderstanding situations.

One interesting part of this course is the interventions of professional guest lecturers.

We had the chance to learn from professionals’ workers who are used to work abroad and living for a long time outside of their home country. They talked about their experiences and the particularities of working abroad.

Thanks to this course, I’ve learned how to act well in a foreign country and how to integrate myself to this country and its inhabitants.

Even if you’ve already learned the major part of the course, the teacher will give you a totally different approach to the Management as you’ve learned in France. She will enlighten the International part of the Management which was very interesting and enjoyable.

Major International Entrepreneurship.   6 Ects Credits

This is a 3rdyear course from the Bachelor Curriculum of FHNW.

During each semester, you’ll have to choose one major course among the 4 of them.

You really have to think which major will you choose because those courses are very intense and take place during an all day.

As you can see I’ve chosen the major talking about Entrepreneurship.

During this class, you’ll be taught by 3 different teachers, each one is a professional entrepreneur and has launched more than 10 companies during their professional career.

You’ll learn which skills an entrepreneur needs to have to be successful. You will also learn which spirit you need to adopt to be a prosperous entrepreneur

German Basic.                 3 Ects Credits

Even if German it’s different from Swiss-German, choosing this course will show to your welcoming country and to the Swiss people that you actually take care of your integration process.  By “take care” I mean that you’re doing everything you can do to integrate yourself into your welcoming country.

The Swiss will be very flattered to hear an exchange student speaking German especially if you’re using Swiss German word!

The teacher is pedagogue and will make you like this language.
