FHNW

The Swiss Excellence

f_fullwidthtop.jpeg

FHNW is one of Switzerland’s leading universities of applies science and arts.  The school is well known for its international programs and classes.  The FHNW schools are located all around Switzerland, with sites in Olten, Basel or Brugg.

The worldwide reputation of the school motivates me to choose FHNW as my welcoming university. I also had the chance to talk to a french student who was in the exchange program before me. His feedbacks about the classes and the teachers encouraged me to follow my first choice.

Let me give you my own opinions about the school.

Studying at this university was a real game changer for me. The professionality of the teaching staff, the modernity of the infrastructures and the participation of guest lecturers really amazed me.

The teachers of FHNW are all former professionals worker with a high background in their teaching course. That motivates me to be 100 % involved in my different courses. They know perfectly their subjects and add several personal anecdotes into their class which makes it interesting to follow.

Regarding the infrastructures, they’re far from what I was used to. All the electronic devices are efficient and modern design at the same time. The classes have a lot of space in order to allow the students to sit wherever they want. They are all equipped with video projectors and electrical outlets.

One of the best things about this school is the intervention of guest lecturers.

During your semester a lot of teachers, thanks to their networks, will invite guest lecturers to participate in their courses. The guest lecturers ‘interventions are always interesting because they will give some precise inputs about their job or their market.

For example, in Intercultural Management we have had the chance to meet Mister John-James Farquharson, a Human Ressources Senor who spend more than 20 years working all across Asia.

All those elements make me choose FHNW as my welcoming university.
